This month, Edinburgh-based CrownCouture launched as the first own brand hair extension supply business in Scotland.
Founded by hair specialists and sisters, Nikki and Lorraine Alonzi, CrownCouture will service businesses across the UK with professional use luxury hair extensions, hairpieces, tools and equipment, as well as a premium hair extension training academy.
Co-founder Nikki brings over seven years of experience in the hair extension industry, and was inspired to launch CrownCouture as she found sourcing quality product increasingly challenging in an ever-more saturated market.
She explains, “I have previously experienced inconsistent hair supplies and therefore identified the opportunity to expand the business by offering up a consistent, reliable and new brand of superior quality hair to the industry.”
The sisters have ethically sourced the highest grade of hair directly from countries including Russia and Mongolia, and expertly blend them to exploit the individual strengths of each type of hair. The premium hair is double drawn, giving consistent thickness and a fuller finish with fewer bonds.
The company’s Edinburgh boutique and training academy is open to trade customers, while products are also available at the new e-commerce site. CrownCouture is offering a 20 per cent discount on all products for new trade account customers.
