FULL-TIME/PART-TIME SELF-EMPLOYED HAIRDRESSER REQUIRED
An exciting opportunity is opening at CrownCouture for a freelance self-employed hairdresser – part-time or full-time.
As a specialist hair extension salon, we are passionate about hair. We are looking to recruit a fully qualified and experienced hair dresser who can cut, style and apply colour to the highest standard, to work alongside our team.
The candidate must have a current client base, with the ability of building regulars and generating new clientele. Opportunities may arise to work with CrownCouture’s existing clients.
This chair rental opportunity is open to a stylist with 3+ years experience with the passion and drive to build and run their own business in a fun, friendly and hard-working team environment.
This opportunity is for a self employed individual who must hold their own personal insurance certificates. Candidates should have their own tools, equipment and products. Trade test required.
Chair rental is available for 5 days per week (Tuesday-Saturday).
While there will be walk-ins and client referrals, the candidate should already have enough clients to sustain 5 days. Rent will be inclusive of cleaning and bills.
REQUIREMENTS:
– Must be highly creative and have a passion for hairdressing
– Must have at least 3 years of experience on the salon floor, a client portfolio and the relevant hairdressing qualifications (certificates must be provided)
– Use colour confidently – highlighting, ombre, balayage
– Ladies cutting, styling and hair up experience
– Must have an existing clientele
– Good interpersonal skills with a very friendly manner
– Extremely hard working and punctual at all times
– Smartly dressed and highly presentable
– Must be a team-player – everyone plays an important part in delivering an outstanding client service
– Must be able to clean up after themselves. Keeping the salon tidy is shared work
– Must have personal work insurance
– Must have a full UK work permit if not a British citizen
